Jacob Haskell, our Guiding Ohio Online Tech, has joined the Henderson Library Family.
He is happy to help patrons with one-on-one computer questions and on Wed. Nov 13 (6 PM) & Sat. Nov. 16 (1 PM) he will be providing Computer Basics classes at the library.
Jacob's hours are currently: Tues-Thu 4- 8 PM, Alternating Fridays & Saturdays 9-5, and one Sunday a month 1-5 PM.
It is the 2019 Wreath Make & Take Event @ the Henderson Library on Friday, November 22.
There will be two sessions this year: 5:30 PM & 7:00 PM
$20 due at time of registration.
There will be pre-made wreaths to decorate, along with light refreshments, holiday music, and take home ornament kits to purchase.
This event fills up fast so register ASAP!
During the month of November the Henderson Library will be hosting Food for Fines.
Each non-perishable/ non expired food item brought into the library will equal $1 worth of overdue fines forgiveness up to $20.
This does not include LOST/DAMAGED materials or Wi-fi Hotspot fines.
All food will support the local MANNA Project in the Jefferson Village located at 89 E. Satin Street.
Quotes will be accepted in the Director's office of the Henderson Memorial Public Library at 54. E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, Ohio 44047, until Friday, October 25, 2019 at 5 PM, for snow plowing and clearing of sidewalks. Please stop in the library for printed copies of the quote specifications or here at our website under About Us/ Library Documents & Forms. Please include your proposal along with proof of liability insurance and worker's compensation coverage by attaching copies of your policies and certificates to the quote specifications form.
Join us to create holiday crafts at the library. We will have various stations set up with multiple holiday crafts for you and your kids to create until your heart is content. Make ornaments, paper snowflakes, letters to Santa, and a variety of other crafts. This is a drop in program so come any time between 10am-5pm
Join us for a Polar Express Day to gear up for Jefferson's Annual Christmas Parade that night at 6pm. We will be showing the Polar Express in 3D at 10am and 1pm and doing a Polar Express Snow Globe craft. All supplies for the snow globe are included and the library will also be providing 3D glasses, popcorn, and a hot cocoa bar.
