Our new student homework & tech center is now open for business!
Named CHATTER (Children at Henderson Apply Technology To Everyday Routines), the CHATTER items are for homework,study use, and research for kids in school up to age 18.
The items include two Kindle Fires (labeled as CHATTER Green and CHATTER Pink) which have accompanying headsets, along with two laptops that have been filled with
educational links, coding games, language learning, and various fun subject learning applications, a Drawing Tablet, and some STEM Learning Kits, specifically: Newton's Laws Kit, Gizmos & Gadgets Kit, and Snap Circuit Kit.
Students must come to the circulation desk to sign out items and must return them to the desk when they are finished, where they will then complete a quick Exit Survey.
All items are for in-library use only, for patrons under 18 years old.
