As part of the Jefferson Village Christmas Around the World celebration on December 4, 2021, the Henderson Library has lined up some activities for patrons to help patrons get into the holiday spirit!
On Saturday, December 4, 2021 the library will be hosting classic Christmas movies for all ages beginning at 10 AM. Free popcorn and hot chocolate and sodas will be provided for movie-goers.
There will be free face painting for kids from 10 AM to 4 PM in the children's area.
Holiday take-home crafts will be available to pick up for all ages: ages 0-5 Build a Penguin, ages 6-12 Handprint Gnome, teens/adults Cork Christmas Trees. Quantities are limited to first come-first serve. You can also pick up the December Fun-on-the-Run packets for all ages.
From 2-4 PM Lyle Heath will provide LIVE music in the front of the library.
Don't forget to stay in town for the Village Christmas Parade beginning at 6:00 PM!
Other on-going activities in December include:
Coloring Contest for all ages. Color pages are provided in the library and are due by December 11, 2021. Public judging will take place the week of December 12-18th.
Giving Tree: Our "Let us Keep You in Stitches" HMPL group have donated ornaments and decorations that the public may purchase during the month. Cost is by donation and all proceeds will go to the library.
Kids Christmas Party: December 11, 2021 Join Miss Ashley for songs, stories, and games!
Homeschool Winter Solstice Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Miss Michaela.
