The Henderson Library has an opening for a full-time Youth Services Coordinator. We are looking for an energetic and friendly individual who would like to be part of a dynamic environment and develop an engaging relationship with community partners.
The Youth Services Coordinator provides reference and reader's advisory services with an emphasis on children and teens; maintains collection development, including assisting with the JES (Jefferson Elementary School) collection development; coordinates consistent programs both on-site and off-site; adheres to library policies and procedures; creates a welcoming environment for library patrons; and promotes the library through various marketing methods and strategies.
Requirements: Associate's Degree preferred. Extensive library experience or experience working with youth may be substituted for educational qualifications.
