HMPL Announces Two New Board of Trustees

The Henderson Memorial Public Library would like to thank everyone who came out to vote on Sunday, November 8 for HMPL Board of Trustees. It was a great turnout on a beautiful sunny Sunday. The library is pleased to welcome two new board members for 2021:

Fred Grimm: A resident of Ashtabula, Fred served previously on the Henderson Library Board of Trustees from 2005-2015. He is a retired Lutheran Pastor from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jefferson, Ohio and would like to contribute to the success of the library and support staff in every way possible.

Jessica Bailey: A resident of Lenox Township, working in Jefferson Village, Jessica is a graduate of Jefferson Area Local Schools and is currently employed at Bissell Maple Farm as a Customer Service Resource. She wants to help achieve the visions and goals of the library, and utilize the skills she learns to transfer into her family life, career, and other agencies she is involved with.

The Henderson Library conducted voting via in-person in the back lobby and also curbside. Each attendee received an HMPL monogramed pen and complimentary hand sanitizer and had their names entered into a drawing for two raffle baskets. Winners of the baskets were:

Fall Basket: Jay Brook

Winter Basket: Evan Howe
